The Hawaii Karate Museum was very fortunate to recently acquire an historic first edition, in excellent condition, of Karate-Do Kyohan (Karate-Do Master Text), by Gichin Funakoshi. Yamaguchi was the legendary and colorful early 20th century karate master who founded Japanese Goju-Ryu – - one of Japan's largest and most successful karate organizations.
